Charles III addressed the opening session of Parliament for the first time as monarch, calling for support for Israel and Ukraine: My government is committed to fighting anti-Semitism and ensuring that the Holocaust is never forgotten. My ministers will work closely with international partners to support Ukraine, strengthen NATO and tackle the most pressing security challenges. This includes addressing the consequences of barbaric terrorist attacks against the people of Israel, facilitating humanitarian aid to Gaza, and supporting peace and stability in the Middle East.
