The Many Dangers of Music: A lecture by Richard Taruskin

In the 2016 Lloyd Old Lecture, a project of Music in 21st-Century Society, Richard Taruskin gives this lecture on “The Many Dangers of Music.“ Taruskin provokes debate, asking, what is the artist’s relationship and obligation to society?
