It’s possibly the last recording with Paul Dorn made during a front holiday before he died from a bombing attack near Danzig in March 1945. The song “I Know Some Day A Miracle Will Happen“ was written by Michael Jary (music) and Bruno Balz (lyrics) for the 1942 UFA Picture “Die Große Liebe (The Great Love)“, in which the Swedish singer and actress Zarah Leander sang it.
