NOSTALGIA FUNNY CAR PONTIAC FIREBIRD APACHE RUNS 220MPH +

The Nostalgia Funny Cars were competing at the Festival Of Power at Santa Pod Raceway. Although 3 were entered only the Apache Pontiac Firebird managed to get some consistent runs in over 220mph. The nitro burning Nostalgia Funny cars run with a single magneto, single fuel pump and smaller supercharger than the more modern Funny Cars. They are still capable of dipping into the 5’s over the 1/4 mile, with Apache having a PB of @ 236mph.
