This video shows the entire history of Russia, every year, with flags. The video starts with Novgorod in 862, and continues to the modern day. Note: While Kievan Rus’ is shown in the video, and the Kievan Rus’ are not considered “Russian“ in the modern sense, they are still shown due to their historical significance to Russia, and because of the fact that they are a predecessor state to the modern Russian nation.
