German Prisoners Eating While Walking AKA German Prisoners (1914-1918)

German prisoners eating while walking. Location of events unknown. World War One. A long line of German prisoners (POWs) march past camera to right; eating as they walk — they all have big hunks of bread — nearly every man is chewing a big mouthful! Some guys have some of their bread stuck into their coat. One man is drinking out of a canteen or cup. Don’t get a very good look at guards. At end the prisoners come to a stop and stand looking at camera; some of them smile. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
