There s a update of my experience regarding how to protect a Trachycarpus Fortunei palm tree here near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. First time a use a tent method instead of styrofoam box. For now, it looks very interresting. No damage on the palm even if we have had a -27c outside temperature during one night. We were in the average temp. during this winter for now. normal of -6c in the day and -16c in the night.
