Gadgets Aka Kitchen Implements (1937)

Location unknown. Demonstrations of various kitchen gadgets. A woman demonstrates a spring loaded toast rack to hold the toast solidly. We see a heated butter pat maker to make nice little round bits of butter. We see a double bladed knife for use on bread. One blade is serrated for cutting, the other rounded for spreading butter. Next is an egg holding device for lowering four eggs into a pan of boiling water. We also see two new designs of egg timers. We see a saucepan with a strainer attached for removing fat from gravy or soup. Next is a gripping device for making opening jars easier. Finally we are shown a double ended measuring cup - a great saving in space! All the items are demonstrated by a young woman, dressed in a pinafore, and standing in a kitchen.
