Rise of the Tomb Raider - ’Angel of Darkness Unified Lara’ MOD SHOWCASE │ Full Playthrough
This video showcases the entirety of Rise of the Tomb Raider using the ’Angel of Darkness Unified Lara’ mod-pack by Swiz19.
The mod-pack consists of 5 outfits to choose from:
- AoD Shorts outfit replaces Henley Grey
- AoD Pants outfit replaces Remnant Jacket
- Expedition Jacket Variant outfit replaces Expedition Jacket
- AoD Double Denim outfit replaces Leather Jacket
- Swimsuit outfit replaces Sparrowhawk
Due to this, the game sometimes crashes when changing outfits at a campsite and I have found that like other Rise mods, there is a bug that causes the game to crash when entering the second half of the Soviet Installation. I’ve found that changing the texture settings so that the game is forced to reload textures whilst walking to the second half of the Soviet Installation works fine after changing your graphics settings back to normal once past that section of the game. This bug is well known, and has since had a fix that the mod creator plans on updating his other mods with at some point in the future!
The mod comes with different variations such as different glasses inspired by the Red Circular Sunglasses from the classic games, and also Black Rectangular Sunglasses from Angel of Darkness. I personally haven’t used those for my playthrough. I have, however, used the Classic Colour Variation which changes the colour scheme to the AoD Shorts and AoD Pants outfits.
Towards the end of the game I installed a new mod by Raq, which hides Lara’s equipment such as her pouches, knife, rope, climbing axes, radio etc. This is a similar mod to what I used to use, however it is much improved. The equipment is invisible on Lara’s body, but now shows when using them. The other mod used to cause environmental glitches, which the new one has improved.
