Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the new “AZAD Systems Co“ plant of “Sharg“ Production Unit of the Ministry of Defense Industry. The head of state was told that modern remote control unmanned flying vehicles are produced at the plant. Unmanned flying vehicles have a number of technical, economic advantages, lack of crew in the flying vehicles, little expenses, technical maneuvers and others. Having familiarized himself with the working procedure in the area of composite materials, President Ilham Aliyev was told that all conditions are created at the facility that produces orbiter 2M and Aerostar aircrafts. The parts of the unmanned aircrafts are also made in this facility. Special moulds are used for this.
