Ginny Brown, self-made shoe maker (cobbler) from California (USA, United States of America) came to London with her husband, an actor and producer Phil Brown. They bought the boat ’Mayflower’ and turned it into a floating home. Mrs. Brown became famous for her shoe designs when Hollywood stars like Zsa Zsa Gabor, Vivien Leigh, Rita Hayworth and many others started ordering shoes from her. She is self-taught shoe designer but her first love is painting. Several shots of Mrs. Brown working on different shoes. For one shoe, she is engraving a golden leaf onto the leather.
