Corey Fujimoto shows us how to play the Jake Shimabukuro version of the George Harrison classic as composed by Hawaii’s own Jake Shimabukuro, a prolific artist that influenced a new generation of ukulele masters. This is part 1 of three in this lesson.
I believe Corey had just tuned to Jake in his video at Central Park which is what Corey was listening to before teaching this. So it’s a bit flat of 440. Also I just asked Corey to teach it. He’s not a “teacher“ but you’ll get it if you want. This was early in our video days and I apologize if it is not as thorough as you need. If it wasn’t free and useful for some I would just remove it, but it is what it is.
Thanks to those that are cool and willing to work. In Hawaiian old tradition the teachers told the students to watch and listen. Make it your own.
Aloha!
