FINAL MUSIC VIDEO / AUDIO REMIX BY MYLES MATISSE! - July 4, 2021! This is my finalized Music Video Remix of KAT VON D’’s song, “I Am Nothing“. Having seen the music video, both the visuals and music brought me in to Kat and her musical team’s creation beautifully. I loved the music so much I found the software to separate music from vocals so I could remix the version I envisioned. With only the music for the first few minutes, I wanted the listener to immerse into and enjoy the rich and otherworldly keyboard and drum programming. Separating the music from Kat’s vocals created a ebb and flow of the sound similar to listening to it on an old worn out cassette but I think it gives it a cool retro 80s charm. When the normal album version with vocals comes in I extended the bridge section because I just love the sounds they created. For the visuals, I made the color palette richer and just a touch more vibrant. I’m really happy with the results. Instead of waiting for Kat’s team to get back to me with an instrumental version, which reasonably they wouldn’t because they don’t know who “Myles Matisse“ is, I decided to take the bull by the horns and make this video remix !
