A clash between Ukrainian activists and local communists occurred in Greece

A clash between Ukrainian activists and local communists occurred in Greece. Ukrainians came out to honor the memory of the Holodomor victims at the Taras Shevchenko monument in the city of Mandra. The event was organized by the embassy. As the priest of the UGCC Igor Posolenik reported on Facebook, the path to the monument was blocked by people with red flags and symbols of the Greek Communist Party. They began shouting against the Ukrainian march and throwing firecrackers. The embassy action was disrupted. According to Posolenik, a Ukrainian diplomat was injured during the clash (this was not officially confirmed). Source: Global News (EU, USA)
