गन्धर्व वेद Radel Veena Festival - J. T. Jeyaraaj Krishnan, Jaysri Jeyaraaj Krishnan

An excerpt from the marathon 4-and-a half hour veena concert by the well-known veena couple Jeyaraaj and Jaysri Krishnan, features the raga Suddha Saveri of Carnatic music (roughly equivalent to the raga Durga of North Indian music). Jeyaraaj and Jaysri play the magnificent composition of Tyagaraja, Dhaarini Telusukonti, showcasing the numerous variations (sangathis) with their myriad twists and turns. They conclude with a detailed improvisation (swaraprastharam), ending with a grand finale.
