Cannibal Corpse 6/12/2022 The Broadberry Richmond, Virginia

Filming this stacked line up reminded me of another occasion when I saw Cannibal Corpse with a few good friends at Santos Party House (RIP). The line up for that show was also stacked crazy and sold out in no time, with Devourment, Vital Remains, and Dying Fetus opening for Cannibal. I wish I had filmed that but this was years before I cared about capturing and archiving footage of live music and the quality of affordable cameras wasn’t all that at the time. So going to Virginia for this shindig fulfilled something of a loose bucket list project for me; getting to capture the band that got me into the heavy stuff and seeing the homies live the dream, as well as showcase their efforts for a new generation of fans. This upload’s a special one for me, considering Cannibal Corpse was the first Death Metal band someone showed me, and it was through their live album, “Live Cannibalism“ that got me into Death Metal. I went from the Hardcore Punk/Punk Rock of the late 70s/early 80s right in
