It was recorded during the martial law in Poland and showcased political lyrics, all written by Gaweł Jedynak. NIGHT SHIFT met with positive critical reception and commercial success.[4] In early 1984, it was awarded with gold certification for selling over 150,000 copies.[5] It spawned the hits “Dance in the Fallout“, “Arkanoid or Humanoid?” and “Annabel”.
