German version of “Johnny” – arguably the most well-known song of Austrian disco singer Gilla in ex-USSR countries. This is a cover of “Uomo“ - song by Italian musicians Gianfrancesco Guarnieri, Vito Pallavicini and Toto Cutugno and released by Mita Medici - German version of “Johnny“ was included into Gilla’s album “Zieh Mich Aus“ - LP released in January 1977 Single 7’ featuring “Johnny“ on A-side and “Der Strom Der Zeit“ ( on B-side was released later in 1977 for Germany and Austria.
