The band was formed in the late 90s and, like black doomsters Dionysus, was born out of a previous band called Death Of A Clown. Ripcage recorded their debut album ARTEMIS at Phase One studios in Toronto Canada in 1999, but the album was never released due to the record company rep stealing the band’s money and disappearing, so progress on it never made it past initial tracking and mixing. I was briefly in the band as a live guitarist in the early 2000s when they were still gigging but this was long after the album was recorded.
