In November 2023, two of China’s tech giants, Alibaba Cloud and Didi Global, experienced an epic technological breakdown. Around 11 PM on November 27, Didi Global, a ride-hailing behemoth with over 500 million monthly active users, saw its app fail to provide normal services for both drivers and passengers.
