Russian Bombing Mission Foiled In Cross-Border Strike? Ukraine Says “5 Aircraft“ Downed In Bryansk

Russia’s Air Force may have had its worst day yet since it began its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Three Russian helicopters, in addition to two fighter jets, were shot down on Saturday, Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Colonel Yurii Ihnat told Ukrainian television on Sunday. Russian news outlet Kommersant reported a Su-34 fighter-bomber, Su-35 fighter and two Mi-8 helicopters were shot down almost simultaneously. The incidents took place in Russian airspace and come as a serious and embarrassing blow to Putin’s Air Force amid speculation of Ukraine beginning its Spring Counter-Offensive. n18oc_world n18oc_crux CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
