‘Shocking’: Donald Trump survives second assassination attempt

Assistant Immigration Minister Matt Thistlethwaite has labelled the second assassination attempt of Donald Trump as “shocking”. An FBI investigation is underway after multiple shots were fired at Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach in a second attempt on his life. It is understood one of the shooters was a suspicious person who had attended the golf course with intent to harm the former president. “It’s a shocking development,” Mr Thistlethwaite told Sky News Australia. “Obviously, our concern is for the safety of former president Trump and anyone else that was with him.”
