Welcome back guys! We are doing an oil painting tutorial and we will be using a palette knife for this one along with some brushes. Sometimes less is more when it comes to realism and I just want to share with you how easy it can be to achieve that level of realism in a painting, even for a beginner! This is the type of painting that looks realistic from afar but once you get closer you start seeing all of the texture which makes for an interesting painting. I hope you guys enjoy this one! This was painted on a 16 by 20 inch canvas The colors I used: Ultramarine blue Cerulean blue Phthalo turquoise Alizarin crimson Cadmium yellow Burnt umber Sap green White Cool Grey The brushes : 1 inch flat Small palette knife Angled flat brush (medium sized)
