A Surprise Crystal Ammonite Fossil Hunting

Welcome to our fossil hunting video. We are heading along the Jurassic Coast fossil collecting. We will start walking to the East of Lyme looks like a stormy fossil hunting week, along the Jurassic coast. I meet up with Mike Harrison on the beach. He has some fantastic ammonite all have some good fossil collecting luck and some bad luck to.I recommend wearing safety glasses and sturdy rubber gloves when hammering the right rocks. Remember the cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning. Keep away from the dangerous cliffs, the best fossils are washed out onto the beaches at low tide by the sea’s actions. There are slippery ledges and seaweed to look out for at lowtide.
