Want to know what gear & equipment I use? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first real day of riding in Tajikistan! After the pouring rain the previous day, it cleared up and it turned out to be a fantastic ride! The scenery was stunning, the road amazing and the people welcoming and friendly. After riding so long in desert landscapes, I was just stoked to ride in mountains again. I had to cross several scary dark tunnels, the longest being 5.3 kilometers and absolutely terrifying. They call this the “Tunnel of Death“ and I can see why! But, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. And in this case, crossing the tunnel was rewarded by gorgeous snow-capped mountains.
