The name of Muslim Salikhov became well-known worldwide quite fast, but he started his path to the glory in China where he won the Kung Fu King title in the battles against the best martial artist. Also Muslim had a few spectacular fights in M-1 Challenge, and now he is UFC fighter having 5 fight winning streak. There was the period of time in between his fights in M-1 and UFC when Salikhov came back to China and had a few great victories at the local events.
