Blacksmithing: making a rush-light holder.

In this video, I demonstrate how I go about making a rushlight holder with a scrolled counterweight, from forging the tripod to creating the rushnips themselves. The techniques demonstrated include splitting, set-downs, tapers, scrolls and rivetting. *edit* I have removed two parts of power-hammer themed dialogue which offended a few people and came across as superior. These were intended as a joke but were not taken as such. For this I apologise as it is my intention to teach rather than to offend.
