Log Cabin Build at Paradise Point, Start to Finish/Time-Lapse minus Chinking

This cabin, at what I call Paradise Point, has been a relaxing pleasure to build. We started out just to build the log pen which measures 12’ x 16’, but the owner, Brother Wayne, soon decided to add a kitchen adjoining the back side of the log cabin. During the build, I purchased a Woodland Mills sawmill HM126 and was able to saw all the lumber that was used on the kitchen inside and out as well as the gable ends and front porch. I will be building the doors for the front and back entrances as soon as the lumber has dried to acceptable moisture levels. When building with green logs, a cabin needs to set for about a year before beginning the chinking process to allow for settling to take place. The insulation and wire are already in the gaps, sufficient time has now passed and chinking can start when time and weather permits. Thank You so much for watching!
