I Am Abomination - Judas - Playthrough

When I Am Abomination did our crowdfunding campaign for the “Passion of the Heist II“ album we included a raffle for a guitar built by me. The winner of that raffle was Gary Singleton and I’m proud to say he finally has the instrument in his hands :) I had already built a few guitars but never one that I had to worry about ever leaving my possession. A lot of learning had to happen on my end to make sure that I built Gary an instrument that would not only sound and play good, but also last a lifetime. I really babied this thing and built every part of it at least twice 🙃 The process has been long but Gary has been extremely patient throughout and he asked if I would make a playthrough video with the guitar before I shipped it. So enjoy this playthrough of Judas! \m/ Head to the link below for full specs and to see some amazing photos of the guitar taken by my good friend Paul Raymond with Full Send Studios. The left side and center guitars in this video were recorded live with Gary’s guitar when we filmed the playthrough. The rest of the audio is from the album stems which you can find at the link below. Thank you to Gary Singleton, for being so patient and understanding as well as being an awesome human being in general! My Family, for the consistent support. Omega Ampworks/Mike Smith, for letting me film this at the workshop and providing great advice throughout the build. Wes Hauch and Seymour Duncan, for providing me with the Jupiter pickups. American Specialty Hardwoods, for being incredible wood suppliers and letting me dig through and displace giant stacks of maple tops to find the absolute gem I wound up with. Hipshot Products, for custom finishing a bridge for me to match the hardware. Staig Flynn, for going on wood acquisition adventures with ur boi. Shawn May, for being an insane luthier and answering any questions I had as well as letting me use his tools/shop a few times. Bill Honto, for helping me shoot out finishing products and doing the awesome clear gloss topcoat. Matt Jahner, for appying the ceramic coating to protect that topcoat and make it feel amazing. Steve Mathers/Relentless Baggers, for laser etching the serial/QR plaque for me. Last but not least thank you to all of the IAA fans that contributed to the campaign and supported us over the years, we are eternally grateful for your support!
