Yes Owner of a Lonely Heart Guitar Solo Trevor Rabin (With TAB)

Donate: Wolf¤cy_code=CAD The 1980’s was a very challenging decade for Progressive Rock. The bands of the genre had to make a hard choice of whether to adapt to the changing sounds of the decade or become irrelevant. Yes decided to adapt, and with this record they succeeded. Not only is was it an incredible artistic achievement but it was extremely successful as well. Trevor Horn replaced Jon Anderson as lead vocalist for the Yes album Drama (1980). Even though this was a great record it didn’t have the hit singles that were needed to bring Yes into the 80’s. The band decided to do some major band restructuring. First, they replaced Steve Howe with Trevor Rabin, they brought back ex Yes keyboardist Tony Kaye and they brought back Jon Anderson and put Trevor Horn in the producer chair. I personally think this is a masterpiece. It’s an extreme option but there are times that I would rank this as my favourite Yes album. Unfortunately lightning wouldn’t strike twice, and even though this lineup continued to release albums through to the 90’s it didn’t capture the magic that is on 90125. The guitar solo uses a Harmonizer with two harmonized voices. Set one harmony a 5th above and the other harmony an Octave below. Make sure the harmonizer conforms to the key of G Major.
