Ivanka Trump reveals RNC attendance and her fathers ‘painful’ conviction

Ivanka Trump will attend the Republican National Convention (RNC) in support of her father and former US president Donald Trump. The 42-year-old’s spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday she will attend the convention as Trump accepts the Republican presidential nomination. The convention will be held at the Fiserv Forum on July 15-18, with sources close to the former president asserting Ivanka is only there to support her father. Recently, Ivanka has also admitted her father’s recent conviction was “painful” for her. Ivanka recounted her feelings following the court ruling on her father’s case during an interview with podcaster Lex Fridman. “On a human level, it’s my father and I love him very much, so it’s painful to experience, but ultimately, I wish it didn’t have to be this way,” she said.
