Spirit of Truth - Gabriel Rymberg Born Jewish, Gabriel knew very little about Jesus, and he acknowledges the advantage in being able to learn about Jesus without having to discard any preconceptions. He recognizes that many outside of Christianity are interested in Jesus, but they don’t want to give up their own faith to learn more about him. Christians already know Jesus but are limited by the few excerpts of his life that the bible provides. Gabriel sees a way to offer all seekers access to Jesus by telling the stories of Jesus before Christianity. Gabriel, himself, was a longtime seeker who learned of the Urantia Book as he traveled on a bus in Latvia with a group of Russians. Only one of them spoke English, but the conversation that day changed Gabriel’s life forever. At the suggestion of his Russian friend to “take a look,” Gabriel read the Urantia Book and discovered Jesus.
