Dancing with Mortality

As you return to a show, which is about sort of aging and mortality and all of these things, did you have a different perspective on the other side of everything you went through? Yeah, it wasn’t too different. It was, like, kind of more in focus. It was basically the same thing. And it’s the love thing. It’s a chance when you in that kind of situation, when you’re dancing with your mortality, you realize how much you love the people that love you, and you feel that love. It just intensifies all that. And then coming back to work after two years of being sick like that, it was so kind of psychedelic, because all the same people, the same crew, the same cast, it was like we had a long weekend, and I felt like saying, I have to wear this dream, because it went boom. And that’s the other thing that it brings to how fast all of this is going on, man. Jeez.
