Shoes on the Danube Bank (Holocaust Memorial)

Walking along the shores of the Danube, you suddenly come across this memorial to those who were tied together, shot and fell into the Danube during the Second World War. The Hungarians were pressed to kill as many Jews with as few munitions as quickly as possible. This memorial is testament to a time when the Danube was red with the blood of the Jews.
