Teaching Tips for Articles (the, a/an) 👨🏾‍🏫👩🏻‍🏫🧑🏼‍🏫 I shot this video upon a specific request for teaching articles 🧐 Now articles can be tricky, really tricky If your students do not have articles in their L1, I highly recommend this simple physical approach to help learners grasp the communication all necessity behind articles, definite and indefinite 👍 The whole idea is for students to experience the difference between not using articles and using articles in a clear way and an important communication aspect 👨🏽‍🎓🧑‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓 We all know there are plenty of rules and scores of exceptions when it comes to articles That can be dealt with later on First, we want to lead students to understanding the role articles take in speech And this approach has always helped my students with that I’ll add a video with a fluency activity for articles later on For now, check out this short video on my approach to teaching articles I don’t lie to my students!
