This is an excerpt from an old Northern Samogitian folk song - in this video you can hear the 1st verse of a folk song imitating thrush’s dialogue with the personified sun. These kind of plots featuring anthropomorphic animals (most frequently birds) and sun worshipping are considered to be the most archaic layer of Samogitian folklore by ethnologists.
