He is the reason I am a full-time pianist today. He believed in my music when I didn’t even myself, at the time piano was barely on my mind. He was an incredible man, someone who started with nothing but built a global company with thousands of loyal employees while raising a family who loves him. His favorite piece of mine was Pachelbel’s Nightmare. Canon in Dream is based on the main melody of Pachelbel’s Nightmare, and this is why I’m dedicating this piece to him, someone who loved & supported my music without hesitation. Rest in Heaven, Andreas. I wish you could hear this, you would have loved it.
