Pop Goes The Weasel ~ Hillgrove

Pop Goes The Weasel is an English Country Dance that first became popular in 1852, but this is a version from 1857 found in the Library of Congress: There is even a Wikipedia article on it: . It is a proper duple minor longways dance. The animation plays at 112 counts per minute normally, but is slowed down first time through the set so the dance is easier to learn (music, if any, will not play for this slow set). Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color will change each time through the minor set.
