Interview with Dr Piers Robinson of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies

As the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons launched a report last week stating that there are “reasonable grounds to believe” that the Syrian government launched a chemical weapon attack in the town of Saraqib in February 2018, an allegation which Damascus has vehemently denied, we spoke to Dr Piers Robinson, a British Academic who has closely followed the Syrian conflict and repeatedly asked difficult questions which have made the authorities in the West who seek to overthrow the government of Bashar Al Assad feel distinctly uncomfortable. In this interview, we asked Piers about the background to the conflict, the problems within the OPCW which have allowed for its institutional neutrality to be repeatedly questioned, the lack of investigative journalism within the mainstream media, and what people can do to better inform themselves about situations which ultimately lead to war and the destruction of hundreds of thousands of lives.
