State Visit Ends (1957)

London Airport. GV. Viscount airliner carrying the royal party taxiing in at London Airport. SV. The Airport Commandant Mr James Jeffs holding the Princess Ann’s and Prince Charles’ hands as they watch the aircraft coming in. SV. Camera pans to the Viscount as it taxis in. SV. The airport commandant with the Royal children move towards the stairway and Princess Anne runs up stairs followed by Prince Charles, to the airliner. LV. Crowds looking on from terrace. GV. The Queen Elizabeth II coming down stairs from the airliner, followed by Princess Anne and the Duke of Edinburgh appears and descends steps. The Queen shakes hands with Deputy Lieutenant for the County of Middlesex Colonel Maurice Browne, and also shakes hands with the Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. Duke then shakes hands with Colonel Browne and Princess Anne shakes hands with the Prime Minister. SV.
