Police fire water cannon to disperse anti-government protesters in Tel Aviv

Riot police used water cannons to disperse anti-government protesters in Tel Aviv. Demonstrators had gathered for a weekly protest, running since the beginning of 2023, calling for the government to step down. Initially starting over anger surrounding a controversial judicial reform package, the protests have since incorporated widespread anger at government failures surrounding the Hamas-led October 7 terror attack.
