DIY/ Homemade briquette press and process I Házi készítésű brikett I Presa de brichetat

I want to show you the method by which my father makes briquettes at home. All equipment is home-made, except for the hydraulic unit that was purchased. In the first phase, the recycled paper and cardboard are put in water, after which it is crushed. The paper is mixed with sawdust in the concrete mixer, after which it is put in the material in the press. Because a lot of water is used, we have mostly captured rainwater, and we still use water from the fountain. We don’t pay for water. Also, all the paper is collected from stores and thus recycled. Up to 250 pieces of briquettes can be made daily, measuring 15 cm wide x 17 cm long x 10 cm thick.
