Sonny’s First Swim Lesson

Sonny update from Sunny Day Acres! He is settling in to his new home really well and is learning many new skills . Today was a huge day for him. Swimming, especially in a pool, is a great way to further trust between dog and handler, but more importantly he is building a lot of confidence in himself. Our lessons are multifaceted when we rehabilitate dogs, focusing not just on dogs not being reactive but rebuilding the true spirit of the dog.
