Marina Yashvili - : Contemplation

Marina Yashvili is a professor at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, a laureate of international competitions (»Jan Kubelik« in Prague, »Henryk Wieniawski« in Poznan and »Queen Elizabeth« in Bruxelles) and a national artist of Georgia and Russia. She is a prominent phenomenon in the performing arts, and a mature and brilliant musician, whose performances cannot be forgotten. She was born in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia, in a family of musicians. She begun to practice the violin at the age of six under the guidance of her father, prof. Luarsab Yashvili, and later continued her studies at the Moscow State Conservatory with the famous teacher K. G. Mostras (one of his famous students was I. Galamian, professor at the Julliard School of Music). The extraordinary talent of M. Yashvili developed impetuously.
