Chronicles of Riddick | Interesting Game Menus

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena was developed by Starbreeze Studios and released in 2009. It also included the previous Riddick game, Escape from Butcher Bay, which ran smoothly with the engine’s improvements and alterations. The game’s main menu features a metallic cube made of dozens of smaller faces that extrude in wild, seemingly random patterns. The cube spins as different menus are navigated, throwing the metal faces into more crazy three-dimensional patterns that settle as suddenly as they started. Changing menu options or entering text also sees the metal faces extrude and rotate. Completing a number of menu functions in rapid succession can spin the cube in a dizzy dance until it rests on the right face.
