Alice Cooper The Beatles’ Because on Sgt Pepper’s Movie

Alice Cooper as Father Sun is featured on Lennon/McCartney cover song Because in scene from the 1978 musical comedy film Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees (Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb) characters recover the stolen tuba from the mind-controlling cult leader. The Beatles’ former producer, George Martin, was musical director, conductor, arranger and producer of the film’s soundtrack album. Sgt. Pepper’s Hollywood movie was filmed at Universal City Studios and MGM Studios in Culver City, CA. Sgt. Pepper’s will be released on Blu-Ray in September 2017. The Beatles originally recorded Because on Abbey Road in 1969.
