Huge Crowd Turns Out to Say Goodbye to Pop Smoke

In February 2020, rapper Pop Smoke was killed in West Hollywood. Several weeks later, his fans, friends and family took part in a funeral procession in his home neighborhood of Canarsie in Brooklyn. Thousands of people turned out to witness the horse drawn carriage bearing the performer’s casket. “This is his community,” one mourner told .
