“She Has To Face The Consequences” | Suella Braverman Allegedly Breached Minsterial Code

Suella Braverman forwarded government documents to her private email at least 127 times while serving as attorney general, potentially breaching the ministerial code, according to a Freedom of Information request by The Times. Braverman, who held the position under Boris Johnson, told LBC there was a “tedious” reason for the transfers, insisting the materials were not sensitive. Ministers are prohibited from sending sensitive documents to private accounts for security reasons. Between 2021 and 2022, Braverman forwarded 127 emails, containing at least 290 documents, to her private accounts. While the content of the emails remains undisclosed, she claimed she did this to use a second laptop as an extra screen.
