Metal detecting around the 1800s cellar hole here in NH and the ground is loaded with stuff and things. This site also had a depression era hunting cabin on it so there is a great mix of finds. With our Teknetics G2 metal detectors we are here to clean up the ground and dig everything up. Relic hunting is the objective but we really do just enjoy finding things like buckles, buttons, suspenders and more. Lucky enough today to find a 1936 wheat penny in the mix from the cabin site. Some call it treasure hunting but we just call it digging and this was good day to be digging up buried New England history.
