This yin yoga class gives extra attention to expanding the front of the spine and hips, with the help of yoga blocks. In this session, long-held backbends are countered with forward bends, side bends and twists to help create a deep release of physical tension in the whole body. The practice finishes with an extended period of rest and seated meditation. The class is geared toward experienced yogis who are comfortable with saddle pose and its modifications.
